Twilight Thursday is kicking off tomorrow, 25th September, relaunching the series for Autumn/Winter.

This month, Twilight Thursdays is embracing the return of third level students to the city while also continuing with inclusive programming designed for everyone, from families and creatives to food lovers and night owls.

With more than 50 events and special offers, the initiative continues to grow as a vibrant monthly celebration of Limerick’s night-time economy.

Twilight Thursdays offers a diverse evening programme with live entertainment, food experiences, family fun, and inclusive events, plus special offers from local businesses to help you enjoy Limerick after dark.

At the relaunch for Autumn/Winter in The Copper Rooms, organisers presented a cheque for €1,423.36 to homeless outreach charity Novas. The funds were raised thanks to generous contributions from the public during a previous Twilight Thursdays’ silent disco hosted in partnership with Spin SouthWest and CWB Productions Limited.

Among many events that will pique student interest is the NEW ERA Warehouse Party, featuring Ireland’s hottest DJ and producer duo. With over 20 million streams and a million followers, NEW ERA will perform in Limerick for the first time as part of the new “Twilight Sessions” series. Purchase Tickets for just €5, with the event open to over-18s only (ID required).

Speaking to Live95 News about this month's events, Craig Power, Night-Time Economy Adviser at Limerick City and County Council, shared, "We're putting a big emphasis on welcoming the 31,000 students back to the city.

"So, we just announced the venue for our secret gig with NEW ERA in Cleeves Factory, with tickets at the moment almost sold out.

"We also have a student-friendly run club with Run061.

"We have yoga, with Breathe Better Yoga, we have food and fashion with the Spitjack and Brown Thomas, plays, and late-night café openings.

"I think there's a little something for everyone."

Twilight Thursdays is made possible through the support of Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, and generous funding from individual Limerick City and County Councillors via their discretionary General Municipal Allocation (GMA) fund.
