The list was revealed this week.
A Limerick store has been shortlisted as one the top Independent stores in Ireland.
The Top 20 Independent Stores in Ireland list has been named by Retail Excellence Ireland in advance of Elavon Retail Excellence Awards.
Retail Excellence is the largest retail industry representative organisation in Ireland.
The awards were established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage high standards in the Irish retail industry.
The Awards will take place on Saturday, 15th November 2025 at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny.
Tadgh Kearney Jewellers on Thomas St in the city has made the shortlist.
As part of the Top 100 selection process, all store entrants were visited by a mystery shopper, with those exceeding service and standards criteria making it to the Top 100 stores.

The Top 20 stores will then be rigorously tested before being whittled down to the Top 5 finalists and overall Retailer of the Year Winner.
