
The seizures happened in Castleconnell and in Knocklong
A three-year-old brown and white male Shetland and a four-year-old bay female Shetland were seized from two separate locations in Limerick.
The three-year-old Shetland was seized on Tuesday in Ruan, Castleconnell, and the identity of the horse owner is not known to the Council.
The four-year-old female was seized from Knocklong yesterday, and owner is also not known to the Council.
The owners are advised that within 5 days from the date of the seizure and detention, the Council will dispose of the horse in accordance with the Control of Horses Act, 1996.
