
A man has died, and a woman was seriously injured this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the N20 at Ballyouragan, Croom, Co. Limerick this morning, Thursday 14th August 2025.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:25am and involved two cars.

Emergency services attended, including gardaí, ambulance and three units of Limerick County Fire and Rescue Service from Rathkeale and Kilmallock Fire stations.
A man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of injuries that are believed to be serious.
No other injuries were reported.

The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place at the Croom turn off and O'Rourke's Cross.
